Icons are shipped by the Post Express courier service across the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia. This page covers the details on production times, delivery times, cost and the procedures in case anything goes differently than planned. 1. Courier service
All shipments are delivered by Post Express - the Post of Serbia, a public service covering the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia, including smaller places that private couriers do not reach.
The Seller is not liable for courier failures (delays, lost packages, damage in transit), but actively participates in resolving every situation in agreement with the Consumer and the courier service. See sections 9 and 10.
2. Delivery area
We deliver across the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia, including Belgrade, all cities and larger villages.
At this time we do not ship abroad. If you are from the diaspora and would like an icon, contact us directly at kontakt@orthodoxcorner.rs - we arrange shipping separately, with a price and time frame that depend on the destination.
3. Icon production time
Each icon is made in our workshop in Petrovčić. The production time is 5–10 radnih dana from the day the order is confirmed.
For payment by bank transfer, the production time starts from the day we record the payment in our account (usually 1-2 business days from the payment).
During periods of high demand (before Christmas, Easter, patron saint days) the time frame may be slightly longer - in that case we will notify you by email as soon as we see that we would exceed the standard time frame.
4. Delivery time
After production is complete, the icon is packed and handed over to the courier. The delivery time with the Post Express courier service is 2–4 radna dana from the day the package is handed over to the courier.
Total time from order to receipt at your address:
- Production: 5–10 radnih dana
- Delivery: 2–4 radna dana
At the moment the package is handed over to the courier, we send you an email with the shipment number (see section 7).
5. Delivery cost
Delivery cost: 450 RSD per shipment, regardless of the number of icons in the shipment (everything goes into one package wherever physically possible).
For orders above 10000 RSD, delivery is free - the Seller pays the courier.
The delivery cost is clearly shown on the Payment page before you confirm the order. If the free delivery threshold applies, the system shows it automatically.
6. Packaging
Each icon is packed carefully so that it arrives intact:
- Inner protection - a layer of soft material around the icon, fixed so that it does not slip
- Outer box - made of reinforced cardboard, sized to the icon's dimensions
- Accompanying documents - certificate of authenticity and fiscal receipt inside the box
- "Fragile" label on the outside of the package
For larger or more complex orders (e.g. several icons of different dimensions) we may add extra protective layers.
7. Shipment tracking
At the moment we hand the package over to the courier, we send you an email containing:
- The Post Express shipment number
- A tracking link on the Post of Serbia website
- The estimated delivery date

8. Receiving the package
The courier brings the package to the address you provided in the order. Before accepting it:
- Check the external condition of the package - whether there is visible damage, moisture or signs of opening
- You have the right to open the package in the presence of the courier and check the contents
- If everything is in order, you sign for receipt and pay the courier (if the order is cash on delivery)
If you notice damage or a defect, do NOT sign for receipt - refuse the package and ask the courier for a damage report. For details on this procedure: see Payment and returns - damage in transit.
9. Failed delivery
If the courier does not find you at the address, they will leave a notice with contact details and the shipment number. You have 5 business days to:
- Call the courier and arrange another delivery attempt
- Pick up the package in person at a Post of Serbia branch (the address is on the notice)
If the package is not collected within that period, it is returned to the Seller. In that case:
- We contact you by email to check whether there was a problem with the address
- We arrange a new delivery - the cost of redelivery is borne by the Consumer (since the first attempt did not fail because of us)
- If the delivery cannot be completed even on the second attempt, the contract is considered terminated - we refund the amount paid, reduced by the service rendered (the work on producing the icon)
