This is not an ordinary icon - it is a small sacred corner in a single object. On an MDF base stands the icon of the Most Holy Mother of God of the Eleusa type (Greek: Γλυκοφιλoύσα, Glykophilousa - "Sweetly Kissing"): the Mother of God and the God-child Christ with cheeks pressed together, in a tender embrace that has for centuries been the icon of maternal love in Orthodox iconography. Greek inscriptions ΜΡ ΘΥ (Mother of God) and ΙΣ ΧΣ (Jesus Christ) with a golden halo. In front of the icon, on the base, a space is provided for the vigil lamp - an oil lamp whose light burns before the icon as a quiet prayer and witness of faith.
The piece is designed to stand - on a living room table, on a bedside table, on a shelf in the prayer corner. No wall or nail is needed. The icon and the lamp you place on it together form a whole that invites a brief prayer in the midst of an ordinary day. The Eleusa type was chosen deliberately: of all the images of the Mother of God, this one is the warmest and most immediate - it does not teach, it does not point - it embraces.

Each piece goes through several steps before it reaches you:
- MDF base. Carefully selected and worked to a smooth finish - a stable base that does not warp over time.
- Lithograph print. The icon is printed in high resolution onto the prepared MDF base, with faithful colours and detail.
- Hand-finishing. Every piece is finished and checked by hand before the final coat.
- Eco-friendly varnish. The final coat protects against moisture and gives lasting durability - the colours stay vivid for years.
- Certificate and hook. The back carries the workshop's mark and a hook ready for hanging. Every icon comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.

Returns
