The icon depicts the Holy Trinity through the Old Testament scene of the Hospitality of Abraham - the three angels who visited the righteous Abraham by the oak of Mamre (Genesis 18). The Church interprets this encounter as a prefiguration of the Holy Trinity: three angels of equal dignity are seated at the table, and at the center stands a chalice that foreshadows the sacrifice and the Eucharist. In the background one can recognize Abraham's house (the tower on the left), the oak of Mamre (the tree in the middle) and the mountain (on the right), while the gold, cracked background lends the impression of an ancient icon.
This is one of the most venerated Orthodox icons, a model of the peace, unity and love among the three Persons of the Most Holy Trinity. Before it, the faithful pray for harmony in the family, peace in the home and unity in faith. The icon is a natural place for the icon corner and the home iconostasis, and it makes a special gift for the feast of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost), for the patron saint feast (slava) of those who celebrate the Holy Trinity, as well as for a baptism, wedding or the blessing of a home.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
