Saint Marina is a Christian great martyr from Antioch who suffered in the early centuries of the Church's persecution because of her unshakable faith in Christ. Her life describes her as a young woman who, despite her youth, bravely endured torture and overcame temptations, which is why iconography depicts her holding the cross of martyrdom. On this icon she holds a small cross in her raised hand - a sign of suffering and faithfulness to Christ to the very end. The Greek inscription "Η ΑΓΙΑ ΜΑΡΙΝΑ" means "Saint Marina" and confirms the saint's identity. Among the Serbian people she is also venerated under the name Fiery Mary (Ognjena Marija).
The faithful pray to Saint Marina for the protection of home and family, for healing, and for strength in times of temptation. Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
