The holy venerable Paraskeva, known among the people as Sveta Petka, lived in the 11th century. Born into a devout family in Thrace, she gave away her possessions to the poor even as a young woman and devoted herself to ascesis, fasting, and prayer, living for many years in the wilderness.
Her relics rested through the centuries in several Orthodox lands, and today they are in Iasi, where thousands of the faithful come to venerate them. Among the Serbian people, St. Paraskeva (October 27th) is deeply beloved, especially as the protectress of women and a healer of the sick. Before her icon, the faithful pray for health, for help with women's ailments, and for consolation.

Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
