St. Modest, Patriarch of Jerusalem (7th century), is known for the restoration of the holy sites in Jerusalem after the Persian destruction. In folk veneration, especially among herdsmen and farmers, St. Modest is invoked as the protector of domestic animals and livestock.
According to tradition, he healed the animals of a widow through prayer, and since then he is regarded as the protector of all that makes up a household and its prosperity. His feast day is 31 December. Before his icon the heads of households pray for the health of their livestock, for a good harvest, and for the prosperity of the home.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
Payment
