Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene are among the newly revealed saints of the island of Lesbos. The priest-martyr Raphael was a hieromonk and abbot, Saint Nicholas was his disciple and deacon, and Saint Irene was a young girl, the daughter of the village elder from the town of Thermi. They suffered martyrdom at the hands of the Turks, and their sufferings remained unknown for centuries until their holiness was revealed to the faithful and their relics were discovered in the 20th century. On this icon Raphael blesses with his right hand and holds the Gospel in his left, while Nicholas holds an unfurled scroll bearing the words "The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them." The Greek inscription on the gold background reads "Saints Raphael and Nicholas, the newly revealed martyrs of Thermi on Lesbos" and "Saint Irene."
The faithful pray to these saints for the protection of the family, for healing, for comfort in times of trouble, and for strength in faith, and Saint Irene is especially beloved as a protectress of children and young women. The icon finds its place in the home's icon corner, on a family iconostasis, or in a prayer nook, where it gathers the household for shared prayer. These saints are celebrated on the Tuesday of Bright Week, in the radiant days after Pascha (Easter). Delivery

Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
