Saint Xenia of Saint Petersburg is one of the most beloved women saints of the Orthodox world - a fool, mad for Christ's sake, from Saint Petersburg. After the sudden death of her husband, she gave away all her belongings, put on his clothing and took his name, devoting the rest of her life to prayer, voluntary poverty and helping her neighbors. On this icon she wears a pink and green robe, the colors by which she is remembered, while in her right hand she holds a cross as a sign of faith and suffering, and raises her left palm in prayerful appeal. The Greek inscription Η ΑΓΙΑ ΞΕΝΙΑ (Saint Xenia) confirms her identity. She is known for the gift of prophecy and for countless answered prayers of the faithful.
The faithful pray to Saint Xenia for harmony in marriage and family, for finding a home and work, as well as for help in troubles and difficult life circumstances. Her icon finds its place in the holy corner of the home, on a household iconostasis or in a prayer nook, where it becomes a quiet refuge for daily prayer. It makes a precious gift for a patron saint feast (Slava), name day, baptism or wedding, especially for those who bear the name Xenia. Her feast is celebrated on February 6 (January 24 by the old calendar).

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
