Saint Nectarios of Aegina (1846-1920), Metropolitan of Pentapolis, is one of the most beloved saints of modern times, known as a great wonderworker and healer. On this icon he is shown as a hierarch, in a red phelonion and a white omophorion with crosses, wearing a black monastic kamilavka and with a gray beard. With both hands, close to his chest, he holds a richly decorated Gospel. The Greek inscription "Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΝΕΚΤΑΡΙΟΣ" means "Saint Nectarios". He founded the Monastery of the Holy Trinity on the island of Aegina, where his miracle-working relics rest to this day and are venerated by believers from all over the world.
Believers pray to Saint Nectarios for healing, especially from severe and incurable illnesses, as well as for comfort in times of trouble and for the strengthening of faith. The icon finds its place in the holy corner of the home, on a home iconostasis, or in a prayer nook. It makes a warm and meaningful gift for a family patron saint's day (krsna slava), a baptism, or a name day, as well as a blessing for those who bear his name. Saint Nectarios is celebrated on November 9 (November 22 by the new calendar).

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
