The icon shows a monk in a dark mantle and black kalimavkion, with a full dark beard, still quite young. He blesses with his right hand and holds his left with the palm open - the gesture by which, in iconography, one both receives and gives. There is no mitre, no staff, no book: all that is shown is a monk such as there were by the thousand. That is precisely why this icon feels close to people - Saint Ephraim was neither emperor nor patriarch, but one of those who endured.
His veneration spread quickly and largely by word of mouth, from one person to the next, on the strength of what people testified had happened to them after prayer. He is therefore most often approached in situations that seem locked shut - when no solution is in sight, when doctors have no answer, when the news one is waiting for does not come. The icon is given to someone going through a hard stretch, and it usually ends up where prayer actually happens rather than where it would look best.

- Hand-finishing. Every piece is finished and checked by hand before the final coat.
- Eco-friendly varnish. The final coat protects against moisture and gives lasting durability - the colours stay vivid for years.
- Certificate and hook. The back carries the workshop's mark and a hook ready for hanging. Every icon comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
Payment

Returns
