The icon depicts the Most Holy Theotokos at full length, holding the Christ child on her arm while He blesses with His right hand. The Most Holy is clothed in a dark red maphorion with three stars - a sign of her virginity before, during and after the birth of Christ - and beside her figure stands the Greek inscription ΜΡ ΘΥ (Mother of God). The Christ child is shown as King and Teacher, in a light-colored garment, with the monogram ΙΣ ΧΣ. The whole scene radiates the dignity and tenderness of the Mother who shows the world her Son.
The faithful pray to the Most Holy Theotokos for the protection of home and family, for comfort and help in every need. Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
