In this icon the Lord Jesus Christ blesses with His right hand and holds in His left an open Gospel with the words in Greek: "I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). Around His head is a cruciform halo with the letters Ο ΩΝ - "The One Who Is", the name by which God revealed Himself to Moses, and beside the halo stands the monogram ΙΣ ΧΣ (Jesus Christ). The robe is richly painted, with a red tunic and a blue mantle - red for the divine and blue for the human nature of the Saviour.
This icon is prayed before in moments when a person needs direction - when a hard decision is being made, when a way out is sought, or when the soul is in darkness. The words on the Gospel are not ornament but a promise: whoever follows Christ does not remain in the dark. It finds its place in the icon corner of the home, the prayer nook and on a desk, and is a frequent gift for baptism, a patron-saint feast (slava) and a wedding.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
