The icon of the Most Holy Mother of God "Grigorusa" (Greek: Gorgoepikoos - "Quick to Hear", "Swift Listener") is a wonderworking icon kept in the Docheiariou Monastery on the Holy Mountain. Its name comes from the Mother of God's promise that she would swiftly hear the prayers of those who turn to her in faith.
According to tradition, a monk carelessly passed before the icon with a lit candle several times and smoked it; he was blinded, and when he repented and prayed, the Mother of God restored his sight and promised that this icon would be swift in granting requests. Since then thousands of the faithful have come to her with petitions. Before this icon the faithful pray when help is needed quickly - in illness, trouble, and hardship.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
