The Holy Apostle Peter was a fisherman on the Sea of Galilee when the Lord Jesus Christ called him with the words: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." He became the first among the apostles, fervent and devoted, though at the moment of Christ's Passion he denied his Teacher three times out of fear - and then wept bitterly over it.
After the Resurrection, Christ renewed him with the threefold question "Do you love me?" and entrusted him to feed His sheep. Peter fearlessly proclaimed Christ and suffered martyrdom in Rome, crucified upside down because he did not consider himself worthy to suffer as the Lord had. His feast day is on the Feast of Ss. Peter and Paul (12 July). Before his icon the faithful pray for repentance and steadfastness in faith.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
