The icon depicts the encounter of the risen Lord Jesus Christ with the apostle Thomas. Thomas had not been with the other apostles when Christ first appeared to them, and he did not believe in the Resurrection until he could touch the wounds himself. On the eighth day Christ appeared to him and invited him: "Reach your finger here and see my hands". Thomas, having touched the wounds, exclaimed: "My Lord and my God".
From that encounter came the word of Christ addressed to all of us: "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed". The feast is celebrated on the first Sunday after Pascha (Thomas Sunday). Before this icon the faithful pray for stronger faith - especially when doubt is heavy and it is necessary to believe without visible proof.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
