The icon of the Baptism of the Lord depicts the moment when St. John the Forerunner baptised the Lord Jesus Christ in the River Jordan. This event is also called the Theophany, because it was then that the Holy Trinity was revealed to humanity for the first time: the Father spoke from heaven, the Son stood in the waters of the Jordan, and the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove.
Christ, sinless, had no need for baptism - he enters the water in order to sanctify it and to open for us the path of new birth through baptism. The feast of the Theophany is celebrated on January 19th, when the Great Blessing of Waters takes place. Before this icon, the faithful pray for renewal, purity and the blessing of the home.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.

Returns
