St. Marina the Great Martyr lived in the 3rd century in Antioch, as the daughter of a pagan priest. As a young girl she secretly received the Christian faith. When this was discovered, she was brought before a judge and, having refused to renounce Christ, she endured terrible tortures, miraculously emerging stronger after each trial.
According to tradition, in prison an evil spirit appeared to her in the form of a dragon, but she defeated it with the sign of the cross. For this reason St. Marina has been invoked for centuries as a protectress against evil forces and temptation. In the people's tradition her feast day (30 July) is also called Ognjena Marija - Fiery Mary. Before her icon the faithful pray for protection from evil and fear, and for courage in faith.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
Payment
