St. Constantine the Great bears in the Church the honorary title "equal to the apostles" - not because he was an apostle, but because the work of his life had apostolic reach. With the Edict of Milan in 313 he gave Christians freedom of worship throughout the Roman Empire and thus changed the course of history. In the icon he is depicted in imperial robes and crown, holding a cross in his hand - the sign under which, according to tradition, he also conquered before entering Rome. The Greek inscription Ο ΑΓΙΟC ΚΩΝCΤΑΝΤΙΝΟC (St. Constantine). The icon is rendered on a rustic MDF base of irregular shape with metal rivets, giving it an impression of antiquity and strength.
Together with his mother, St. Empress Helen, Constantine in Orthodox tradition is associated with the finding of the Holy and Life-giving Cross in Jerusalem. The Church celebrates them together on 21 May as a pair who - each in their own place - served the faith. Constantine is the patron saint of emperors, judges, commanders and all who bear responsibility for others.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
