The Holy Great Martyr Anastasia, called "Pharmacolytria" (Greek: "Deliverer from Potions"), lived in the 3rd and 4th centuries. She devoted her life to visiting and helping Christians in prisons, healing their wounds and feeding them, for which she herself suffered martyrdom for Christ. Her name means "Resurrection".
For centuries the faithful have turned to her for healing from illness, for protection from poisons, sorcery, and unseen afflictions, and for help for those in captivity or distress. Her feast day is January 4, on the eve of Christmas. Before this icon the faithful pray for the health of body and soul and for deliverance from every oppression.

Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
