Saint Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia (1906-1991) is one of the most beloved contemporary Orthodox saints - an elder of Mount Athos known for his great love for Christ, his gentleness, and the gifts of the Spirit that God granted him. The Church numbered him among the saints in 2013. On this icon he is shown as an elder with a long grey beard, in the monastic robes of the Athonite schema, with a cross on his chest and an unrolled scroll bearing his well-known counsel: "Love Christ and put nothing before His love... Everything beautiful is in Christ." Beside the figure is the Greek inscription Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΠΟΡΦΥΡΙΟΣ, according to the iconographic canon.
The icon is made in our workshop in Petrovcic, near Belgrade. The image is applied to a papyrus-look surface with curled, timeworn edges, and mounted on a dark-toned wooden panel with metal studs at the corners. On the back there is a jute cord for hanging and a certificate of authenticity by Orthodox Corner. A certificate accompanies every piece.

Each piece goes through several steps before it reaches you:
- MDF base. Carefully selected and worked to a smooth finish - a stable base that does not warp over time.
- Lithograph print. The icon is printed in high resolution onto the prepared MDF base, with faithful colours and detail.
- Hand-finishing. Every piece is finished and checked by hand before the final coat.
- Eco-friendly varnish. The final coat protects against moisture and gives lasting durability - the colours stay vivid for years.
- Certificate and hook. The back carries the workshop's mark and a hook ready for hanging. Every icon comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
