The icon "Christ the Bridegroom" depicts the Lord in the hour of his suffering: wearing a crown of thorns, in the red robe of mockery, with a reed in his bound hands. The name "Bridegroom" comes from the Gospel parable of the ten virgins and from the chanting of Holy Week: "Behold, the Bridegroom comes at midnight." Christ is the Bridegroom who calls his bride - the soul and the Church - to vigilance and faithfulness.
The power of this icon lies in the paradox: the humiliated, suffering Christ is depicted with royal dignity, because it is precisely through suffering that he conquers. It is especially venerated during the first three days of Holy Week. Before it, the faithful pray for spiritual wakefulness, for repentance and for faithfulness to Christ in times of temptation.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
Payment
We accept payment by bank transfer or cash on delivery. Card payment is coming soon.
