The oldest surviving portrait of Christ - an icon from the 6th century, preserved in the Monastery of St. Catherine on Sinai. The name "Pantocrator" means "Almighty" - Christ depicted as the Ruler of the universe, with the Gospel in his left hand and a blessing in his right.
The face on the original Sinai icon has a remarkable quality: the left and right halves are not identical. One expresses mercy, the other justice. This is a theological message that Christ is simultaneously both Judge and Saviour - and this has been the central motif of Orthodox iconography for centuries.

- Certificate and hook. The back carries the workshop's mark and a hook ready for hanging. Every icon comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
