This icon shows the Angel of the Lord in half-length - the messenger of God who stands before the face of the Lord and carries His will to people. The angel wears a red (burgundy) and grey-green robe, with thick curls bound by a band, and holds a slender staff tipped with a small flame - a sign of service and purity. The wings are spread across the whole icon, and the background is gold, for in iconography gold does not denote a colour but the uncreated light of God. At the top stands the Greek inscription ΑΓΓ ΚΥ (Ἄγγελος Κυρίου) - Angel of the Lord.
Before this icon the faithful pray to their guardian angel - for protection on the road, for peace in the home, for children and for all those we love who are beyond our reach. Holy Scripture speaks of the Angel of the Lord as the one who stands between a person and danger, and so this icon has its place in the icon corner of the home, above a child's bed and in the prayer nook.

Delivery
We ship all orders within Serbia only. Delivery takes 10-15 business days from order confirmation - this includes crafting, packaging and transport.
Icons are sent by courier, with proof of delivery. Packaging is twofold - an inner layer with protective foam and an outer cushioning layer for safe transport.
Payment
